Donna Brazile to Speak at Walden University
Donna Brazile, political strategist, commentator, adjunct professor and chair of the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute, will deliver an address entitled “The Political Environment and Mood of the Country” at Walden University’s winter academic residency, Thursday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.
Her plenary address will touch on her breadth of political experience, which includes running the Gore/Lieberman campaign in 2000 and serving as chief of staff and press secretary to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C. Brazile will also offer an overview of the political environment and discuss trends shaping and driving the mood of the country.
Walden is making 200 tickets for the event available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis (limit two per person). While supplies last, tickets will be available at Borders bookstore (10720 Preston Road in Dallas; 1-214-363-1977) starting Jan. 2.
